When you submit a recommendation request, we collect the contact and project details you enter, such as your name, email address, phone number, ZIP code, requested service, city, neighborhood, urgency, and project description.

We also store the page context tied to your request, including the page path, page type, service, city, neighborhood, and analytics identifiers when available.

We use analytics and server logs to understand how visitors use LocalPros. This can include page views, clicks, device and browser information, approximate location, and attribution details that help us understand which pages and tools drive homeowner interest.

We use request information to save your submission, generate a recommendation shortlist inside LocalPros, send you confirmation or follow-up emails, improve pricing and hiring guidance, measure funnel performance, and prevent spam or abuse.

By default, LocalPros does not automatically forward your request to local businesses just because you submitted a form on the site.

When you submit a project request, LocalPros stores the request in our backend and may return a shortlist of LocalPros research profiles or, in select markets, reviewed public business listings that appear relevant to your service and location.

You are responsible for contacting businesses directly and verifying pricing, availability, licensing, insurance, and fit before hiring anyone.

We use Google Analytics for event-based traffic measurement, Google AdSense for advertising, Supabase/Postgres for durable data storage, and Resend to send transactional emails such as request confirmations and recommendation summaries.

LocalPros uses cookies and similar technologies for essential site functionality, analytics measurement, and advertising support. You can manage cookies through your browser settings, although some features may not work correctly if cookies are disabled.

We share information only with service providers that help us operate LocalPros, such as analytics, hosting, database, advertising, and email vendors acting on our behalf.

We do not automatically share your request details with local businesses unless we clearly tell you otherwise at the time of collection.

We retain request and analytics records for operational, reporting, fraud-prevention, and customer-support purposes. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no internet transmission or storage system is guaranteed to be perfectly secure.

You can request access, correction, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us at jeff@localpross.com. You can also opt out of marketing or non-essential communications using the unsubscribe or contact instructions included in those messages.
